Inquisition and Activism

The inquisition of the medieval period was a brutal time, when a religious organization went to brutal lengths to persecute any people they deemed not to be in agreement with their own world view. Any disagreement with the church was seen as heresy and was suppressed through torture, executions and any other methods available. The organized suppression of truth is once again rearing its ugly head. This Modern Inquisition is more commonly referred to as cancel culture.

The Inquisition of  the medieval period was a brutal time when a religious organization went to great lengths to persecute any people they deemed not to be in agreement with Catholic church teaching.

Most have heard of "the Inquisition," a name given to a series of initiatives designed to track down and punish heretics, that is those who openly disagreed with the doctrine of the Church, using all manner of torture and executions to suppress heretics by fear.

During these times, a simple disagreement with the Catholic Church about a particular teaching could mean a death penalty. And Catholics were not the only ones who practiced such rough tactics to control the beliefs of their followers. Protestant reformers such as John Calvin tortured and executed rival theologians. The first of a series of inquisitions was launched in 1184. However in 1231, under Pope Gregory IX, things took a more determined and violent turn. The Franciscan and Dominican orders were assigned the responsibility of combatting the doctrines of the Cathars and Waldensians.

Western civilization is now in the process of reinventing the religious Inquisition and persecution that once terrorized and silenced society, in a form now known as cancel culture.

Whereas previously the teachings of the religious orders were the standard from which Christians were not to deviate, today the manmade ideas of a kind of neo-Marxism are used to punish anyone who dares to disagree with politically-correct narratives presently filling our media.

Today, in the 21st century, we have a new group of inquisitors called social activists. This social activism mimics the tactics of the Inquisition and the Marxist propaganda of the 20th century, working to silence the voices of dissent, and is threatening many civilizations worldwide.

In the 21st century, the preacher who trained missionaries has instead become the schoolteacher who trains activists, indoctrinating students with new manmade ideas about climate, race, sex, gender, and undermining centuries of established norms of behaviour.

The thesis of Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto, is now one of the most frequently assigned texts in U.S. universities. Karl Marx's 'Communist Manifesto' Ranks Third In Assigned College Reading (inquisitr.com) This despite the spectacular failures of Marxist economies.

The social activist has become the new missionary, once sent abroad to propagate the message of the Church, he is now sent forth to proclaim the activist causes, often without pay. Those who are found to be straying from the ideas of the leftish faith are the new heretics, and dissidents are banished. Ironically, these individuals think of themselves as somehow different from the religious "bigots" who used to persecute heretics. Yet they persecute their dissidents with a religious fervour.

Those dissidents from the leftist agenda are labelled, called names: climate deniers, racists, misogynists, homophobes, capitalists, or Christians, and these they treat with disdain and intolerance.

Today's social activists are not forced to labour on behalf of someone else because they are tied to a ball and chain. However, they become so enslaved to the will and ideas of other people, that they spend their time, energy, and efforts working for someone else's cause, which seldom rewards or compensates them. In effect, the activist has become the slave of the 21st century. Yes, he is praised by his neo-Marxist masters, but praise and acceptance is all. he. gets.

These zealots invade people's privacy, abuse people in the streets, shame people on social media—and often feel quite emboldened in doing so. (SLOW) But they are to be pitied above all people on earth, especially the young who work free of charge for their activist preachers. The social activist, the missionary of the 21st century, is indeed making many converts to new ideologies, but fails to realize he is a victim himself.

Don't be a pawn used by global elites, political figures, celebrities, or others to fight for their cause. Are they paying you to do it? Or are you being used like slave labour to promote their causes? Your only reward will be a (EMPHASIS) temporary acceptance for going along with the crowd, until the time comes when you might become their next target.
